I'm Sorry!

Whoh there! There has been a huge out lash and I am sorry. I apologize greatly. For those who don’t know what I am talking about or who I am talking to just bare with me. I am sorry to our fellow Linux users because last week I mentioned Audacity as a means to make music however I neglected to think that we had any uses of Linux subscribe to our station.

So to apologize even more I am dedicating this entire post to ways to make music on Linux based operating systems. By following this link you can find several (hundreds) of different programs for Linux to make music. Having done some research on this topic I have found that a Linux based OS is the best OS to make DnB/Trance music because you can focus and fine tune everything better. You are able to maximize the sound quality and performance under a Linux based system.

Also, this coming weekend as promised was the DJ battle of the century! I hope you all enjoyed listening as our DJ’s played live on the air. However, everyone was great we can only have one winner. I’d like to say “drum roll please” before I announce the winner but that may be a little to cliché. So I will just go ahead and announce that the winner of this years DJ battle is… DJ Unix! Congratulations to him and all who participated.

Computer Security!

Well we are here to improve your safety and peace of mind. Many users have uploaded their own DnB mixes to our database on our website but were sad to see that they were no longer there the next day. Well sorry users as much as we try to prepare for everything we didn’t anticipate a flood in India. How ever thanks to our data back up system and cloud computing we are able to restore everything. So we ask you to be patient.

What is cloud computing you ask? Well because we are all tech geeks into DnB if you don’t know then that’s a problem. However, cloud computing is storing information somewhere else on the “internet.” Our radio station backs up all our music files so that if we were ever to loose our data we would be able to reach into the clouds and be back online.

Now that you users should be relieved to hear that I am excited to announce that we are one week away from the infamous DJ battle of the century. So people hope on your various music editing programs such as Audacity and make your best mixes. Well with one week left you want to know if it is worth it to come out for this event. DJing live should be enough but I present you an opportunity of a life time…. You will be able to play live with Pendulum!

Free Downloads!

Just kidding. However it is as close to free as we are allowed to legally allow. Radio 19.5 has teamed up with iTunes and we are now offering a way to download as much music as you want for a small nominal free. This is a onetime deal so pay once and you are done!

Using your log in to our website and follow the guide on the right hand side of the screen to pay. Once your account has been registered log into iTunes and download away. Don’t worry about your credit information because with last week’s hardware update we also updated the security on our computer system. We are here to protect you, not fraud you.

I know I have gotten several emails and people asking, no begging to know when the DJ battle will take place. However, the more important question that you have been asking is what. “What are we going to get by DJing?”… How could DJing on air not be worth it? Well I will tell you more later but what I can tell you is that. The DJ Battle will take place in two weeks!
